Mid-Senior Lawyer

As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for a talented and dynamic Mid-Senior Lawyer to join our Zurich team.

Role Overview

As a Mid-Senior Lawyer at G-20, you will be part of a fast-paced and innovative legal team, advising on a variety of legal matters related to quantitative trading, financial markets, and the technology sector. You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of challenging issues, from regulatory compliance to contracts and intellectual property, in a firm that values your input and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on regulatory matters, trading, and financial markets.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including agreements with clients, partners, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations impacting the firm\’s trading activities.
• Advise on corporate governance, intellectual property, and data privacy matters.
• Work closely with internal teams, including traders, developers, and compliance officers, to provide strategic legal support.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes and risk management issues.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving laws and regulations in the financial and technology sectors.

Requirements

• Law degree from a recognized institution (Swiss Bar admission preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, preferably in financial services, trading, or technology.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss and European financial regulations, including trading law, data protection, and intellectual property.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (German is a plus).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
