Software Engineer Automotive (m/w/d)

Our Platform Software division is responsible for automotive software infrastructure components,

software integration and automation software technologies for EyeQ computer visions systems.

We develop automotive software on top of embedded Linux systems and related tools in Linux workstation environments.

What will your job look like:

• In this division, you will be joining a small team of experienced system software engineers.
• The team is working on application software bringup on new automotive hardware designs based on Mobileye EyeQ systems on chip.
• You will work on customer and reference board bringup for ADAS and AV projects with a focus on application software running on embedded Linux systems.
• In this context, you will contribute to Python software development of advanced automated testing infrastructure in Python.
• Due to the large number of different hardware setups, you will be working on remote systems in our data center from your local PC.
• Complex system debugging and performance analysis will be an important part of your daily work.

All you need is:

• Advanced experience in Python programming and object-oriented software design
• Experience working with embedded Linux systems and/or Linux software development environment
• Experience in working on real-time operating systems or embedded systems
• Experience in C++ programming
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in working with git, Jenkins, Docker – Advantage
• Background in automotive software development – Advantage
