Role: Head of Logistics

Pod Talent are working with a client in Dusseldorf on a search for an experienced Head of Logistics to lead and enhance logistics and transportation strategy. This is a key leadership role focused on driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and supply chain agility across markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics strategy at Group level across markets.
• Lead and manage the logistics team, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Oversee relationships with key transportation partners and 3PL providers, ensuring high service levels and cost optimization.
• Use data-driven insights to enhance delivery performance and reduce lead times.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing teams to align logistics operations with business goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior logistics or transportation leadership role, ideally within a multinational environment.
• Strong expertise in managing complex inbound and outbound transportation networks.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English and German is essential.
