Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate to join our client\’s dynamic team in Munich. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for private equity. As a Junior Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting their investment and portfolio management activities, contributing to the success of their clients and the growth of our firm.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed financial analyses and valuations of potential investment opportunities.
2. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions and portfolio management.
3. Assist in the identification and analysis of attractive target markets and companies.
4. Support the due diligence process, including financial, operational, and market assessments.
5. Prepare comprehensive investment reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with senior team members on transaction structuring and execution.
7. Monitor and report on the performance of portfolio companies, providing insights and recommendations for value creation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor\’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
2. 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or venture capital.
3. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
6. Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
