Responsibilities:

1. Concept Design and Engineering of Body-in-White Components: Develop and design all body-in-white (BIW) parts from concept to production, ensuring they meet performance, safety, weight and structural integrity standards.
2. Pursue Advanced Design Methodology: Utilize numerical design methods and generative design techniques to optimize part performance and efficiency.
3. Structural Analysis and Testing: Conduct detailed structural analysis and testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of BIW components.
4. Process Optimization: Continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase production efficiency.
5. Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with CN hardware departments to ensure seamless and efficient project execution across continents.

Qualifications:

1. Design and Engineering Skills: Expert use of CATIA for 3D modeling and design.
2. Generative Design Experience: Hands-on experience with generative design tools and techniques.
3. Series Development Experience: Proven experience in series production development, ensuring high-quality, reliable and lightweight BIW structures.
4. Manufacturing and Materials Expertise: Experience with various manufacturing processes and materials, including but not limited to, metals, composites, and advanced alloys.
5. Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in body-in-white (BIW) engineering in the automotive industry.
