The Ministry of Education and Child Day Care Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is seeking to fill a permanent position as a clerk in the IT administration of aDiLaS – staff unit in the department \“Teacher Training and Digitization\“, unit 300 \“Digitization in the school sector, general education digital state school\“ as soon as possible. The place of work is Rostock.
The general education digital state school (aDiLaS) is a special kind of school for the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is a school without a school building run by the state. Pupils are taught in virtual space in synchronous and asynchronous learning settings in the state\’s own learning management system.
Your tasks
- Administration of central and decentralized IT infrastructure in the context of and for the Digital State School including fault management
- Creation, development and testing of documentation and instructions in the form of tutorials (learning platform)
- Operational support for IT education infrastructure components
Your profile
- A successfully completed relevant university or university of applied sciences degree (bachelor\’s degree or equivalent) – preferably in the fields of computer science, business informatics, media informatics/digital media or successfully completed vocational training in the IT sector and many years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of the design and implementation of communication processes and protocols
- Safe handling of common administrative on-board resources of operating systems for connection and network diagnostics
- VMWare certificate desirable
- Ability to communicate with different target groups, especially students, teachers and school administrators, in an approachable and balanced manner
- Ability to assess changing and complex issues and challenging situations and the willingness to familiarize yourself with them in depth
- Very high willingness to provide service and ability to work in a team
- Assertiveness
- Willingness for occasional business trips
