Analyst / Associate - Investment & Financing

We are looking for generalists who are not afraid of trying something new. Experience with logistics assets is a plus but not necessary.

Your Role

• Contribute to the development of our investment strategy with distinct focus on the European infrastructure market
• Support in the analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities based on risk / return criteria and management of M&A / Due Diligence processes taking relevant considerations such as financing, legal requirements, risk, ESG etc. into account
• Preparation of Investment Committee and Board related documents
• Monitor existing investments against relevant performance measures and risk limits and be first point of contact for questions in this area for relevant stakeholders (mainly financial institutions and shareholders)
• Partially responsible for interdisciplinary tasks related to group business planning, financing, treasury and Investor Relation matters

Your Profile

• Excellent master\’s degree in relevant field of study (economics, business administration / management & finance)
• 0 to 4 years of professional experience in the investment banking, deal advisory („Big 4“), private equity or corporate M&A industry
• Experience in the infrastructure industry or portfolio management is an advantage
• Strong investment and valuation knowledge, practical experience of Investment Management is an advantage
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficient knowledge using Microsoft Office
• Strong team player and skilled communicator
• Entrepreneurial thinking, personal drive and \’getting things done\‘ attitude
• Strong results orientation and focus on implementation, ability to work towards tight deadlines
• Fluency in German and English, written and spoken
