Internship - Data Engineer

<![CDATA[ We are seeking a motivated and resourceful Data Engineer Intern to join our Process Digital Services Department. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to address real-world challenges in our supply chain planning processes. The ideal candidate will be a driven individual, decent business acumen who can thrive in ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances with strong analytical skill.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Design, develop, and document advanced data-driven solutions
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business process improvement
• Collect, process, and analyze datasets to develop and train machine learning models that solve complex problems
• Develop and test Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to rapidly validate ideas and iterate on solutions
• Improve existing machine learning models to drive continuous improvement in the process

Internship learning outcomes:

• High level understanding of corporate business processes
• Develop skills in data processing, machine learning and/or deep learning
• Exposure to Low-code solutions
• Practical experiences of classroom theories to corporate application
• Gain people and presentation skills through interfacing with internal stakeholders

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you are have:

• Undergoing your Bachelor/Masters in Data Science or related field
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Excellent problem-solving skills, resourceful and attention to detail in performing feature engineering
• Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Experience in forecasting methodologies is a plus
