We are a startup based in Munich developing construction robot.
We are seeking a part-time/ full-time, skilled and motivated Workshop Technician/ fabricator to join our team. As a Workshop Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production and assembly of metal components and structures, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Tasks
- Perform metal fabrication tasks, including cutting, drilling, grinding, and shaping metal profiles, materials according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, such as milling machines, saws, drills, and grinders.
- Assemble and fit metal components to create finished products or structures, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to review technical drawings and blueprints, and suggest improvements when necessary.
- Inspect finished products for quality and identify any defects or discrepancies; implement corrective measures as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and adhere to best practices in metal fabrication.
- Keep the workshop area clean, organized, and well-maintained, and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Workshop Technician or in a similar metal fabrication role.
- Proficient in metal cutting, grilling, and shaping techniques.
- Familiarity with reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
- Knowledge of metalworking machinery and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a startup environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. German language (B1) is a plus but not required. Fluent in English is a must.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy metal materials and equipment.
