Business Analyst with Energy Trading Experience (m/f/d)

For our client, we are looking for a Business Analyst with Energy Trading Experience (m/f/d).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed requirements analysis for new and existing software projects in the energy trading sector.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders, including traders, business managers, and IT teams, to gather and document business and functional requirements.
3. Develop clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.
4. Work closely with the software development team to translate requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions.
5. Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations.
6. Support the development and implementation of testing strategies to ensure solutions meet business needs.
7. Facilitate communication and ensure alignment between business users and technical teams.
8. Participate in project planning, review meetings, and provide regular progress updates.
9. Analyze production incidents and collaborate with developers and other teams (such as L2 support) to fix issues and ensure timely resolution, including investigating and diagnosing incidents to identify their root causes, as well as providing timely resolutions or workarounds.

Competences:

1. Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
2. Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) experience. Experience with Allegro ETRM system is a plus.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Proficiency in using business analysis software and tools (e.g., Azure, JIRA, Confluence).
5. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
7. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and tools.
