Manager Data Protection & Compliance (m / f / diverse)

In this key role, you\’ll combine compliance expertise with innovative data protection solutions – keeping our company secure, compliant, and always one step ahead.

Responsibilities:

• First contact for LH-Group teams and internal / external parties on compliance and data protection at the time: matters group level
• Contract review regarding data protection and compliance, including data processing agreements and international data transfers
• Documentation of processing activities, ensuring data subject rights, managing data breaches, and follow-up actions
• Preparation of KPIs and reports on data protection and compliance, defining and implementing measures
• Implementation of the LH Compliance Management System
• Active monitoring of data protection and compliance risks
• Ensuring LH Governance, including powers of attorney and RoPs
• Participation in or management of projects

Minimum Requirements:

• Successfully completed studies in law or a comparable field of study, business studies or similar degree
• Several years of data protection experience, ideally in industry or logistics
• Technical knowledge of data processing, cloud services, networks, and digital solutions
• Compliance experience is a plus
• Extensive GDPR knowledge, ideally with certifications
• Independent, structured, and results-driven approach
• Ability to develop and implement new processes in a matrix organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex topics clearly
• Quick comprehension of processes, cross-functional collaboration
