AWS Security Engineer

Role: AWS Security Engineer

Location: Frankfurt, Germany (Hybrid)

Type: Permanent OR Contract

Salary: 60-70K euros gross per year

Contract Rate: 400-450 euros per day

Requirements:

1. Must be fluent in German.
2. Knowledge of data security best practices and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
3. Experience with AWS security tools like AWS Security Hub, Inspector, and GuardDuty.
4. Skills in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement security controls for the AWS infrastructure, including access controls (IAM), encryption (KMS), and vulnerability scanning.
2. Perform regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
3. Monitor security logs and alerts, and respond to security incidents.
4. Stay up-to-date with security threats and best practices, and implement necessary measures to protect the CDP infrastructure.
5. Collaborate with AWS architects and engineers to ensure security is built into the infrastructure from the start.
6. Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
