Description:

We are seeking an experienced Okta/Auth0 Architect to lead the migration of legacy Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) system for partners to a modern, cloud-based solution using Okta and Auth0 . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the architecture for the new CIAM platform while ensuring seamless integration with the existing systems and processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the migration is executed efficiently and securely, while maintaining high standards for scalability, usability, and compliance.

Role: Should be able to provide technical leadership for a small team in onsite and offshore model.

• Previous experience working with partner ecosystems and designing identity solutions for external users (B2B/B2B2C).
• Good experience with user data migration and synchronization between legacy and new systems.
• Lead the migration strategy for transitioning from legacy CIAM systems (partner management) to Okta/Auth0 platforms.
• Design and architect CIAM solutions using Okta/Auth0 to ensure robust identity management for partner ecosystems (B2B and B2B2C scenarios).
• Assess current CIAM infrastructure to identify challenges, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to define and implement authentication, authorization, and user lifecycle management processes.
• Develop integration strategies for connecting Okta/Auth0 with various internal and third-party applications, including SSO, MFA, and user federation.
• Ensure that the migration plan supports high availability, scalability, and security requirements for a global user base.
• Establish best practices and governance for identity management, including data privacy, regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), and security standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams throughout the migration process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Okta/Auth0 configurations and integrations during and post-migration.
• Document architecture decisions, configurations, and migration steps for ongoing support and future scaling.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in architecting, implementing, and migrating Okta and/or Auth0 identity management systems.
• Strong understanding of CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) , with a focus on partner management (B2B/B2B2C).
• Expertise in SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect , and other identity protocols.
• Hands-on experience with API-based integrations , LDAP , and user federation techniques.
• Familiarity with legacy identity systems and approaches to migrating them to modern solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices , including compliance frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, SOC2, etc.
• Experience with complex enterprise environments and the ability to work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Okta Certified Architect or Auth0 Certified Professional.
