Responsibilities

• Manage and innovate Corporate Compliance best practices in an agile gambling and e-commerce environment within a publicly listed company
• Support compliance subject matter experts including IT Security and regulatory compliance
• Assist business units in managing compliance risks and adhering to standards applicable to listed companies in Germany
• Develop and maintain the Compliance Management System aligned with agile and cross-functional work approaches
• Draft and update compliance policies, aligning them with business needs and senior management
• Train and educate stakeholders on compliance best practices
• Present and communicate risk management processes effectively to various stakeholders
• Support the Group Compliance Officer
• Legal background is advantageous as part of the legal department

Candidate Profile

• Multi-year experience as a Compliance Manager
• Academic background, law degree is a plus
• Proficient in Governance, Risk, and Compliance software tools
• Strong communication skills for conveying compliance topics to diverse groups
• Pragmatic and strict where necessary
• Decisive, creative in developing best practices, and able to recommend solutions to senior management
• Thrives in fast-paced environments with a focus on enabling business solutions
• Accountable, independent, and a team player
• Experience in gambling, legal, & regulatory fields is a plus but not mandatory
• Fluent in German & English, and comfortable working in a diverse, multicultural environment
