Job Description

1. Inspects workplace areas to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
2. Helps to develop effective health and safety policies and procedures and carries out risk assessments.
3. Instructs workers in the proper use of protective clothing and safety devices and conducts routine tests on that equipment.
4. Compiles statistics on accidents and injuries, analyses their causes and makes recommendations to management accordingly.
5. Maintains contact with those off work due to illness.
6. Counsels individuals on any personal or domestic problems affecting their work.
7. Gives talks and distributes information on accident prevention, and keeps up to date with the relevant legislation.

Requirements

• Assertive people-centric communication, with a pro-active approach to projects, and building relationships across the business.
• Qualified to NEBOSH Certificate, ideally with experience in Telecoms or similar industries.
