We are seeking a Professor for Applied Data Science and Analytics (m / f / d) for our new Hamburg campus, full or part-time.

Your profile :

• Fulfillment of professorial employment requirements according to § 47 LHG BW.
• Doctorate or equivalent professional achievements demonstrating scientific aptitude.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling, data analysis, and machine learning.
• Ability to process and analyze complex, large datasets.
• Practical experience with programming languages such as Python and R.
• Experience with tools like Tableau, OpenRefine, Trifacta.
• Relevant publications in Applied Machine Learning and Data Engineering.
• Experience with data infrastructure management.
• Independent and responsible working style.
• Substantial university teaching experience is preferred.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to develop learning processes in line with the CORE principle.
• Interest in innovative teaching concepts, digital media, and technology, and enthusiasm for educating students.
• A network within the data science industry is advantageous.
