  • In this role you are leading the development of new large project investment opportunities for Linde with specific focus on Clean Hydrogen in the EMEA region.
  • Furthermore, you are driving the maturation of opportunities from concept to final investment decision, with acceptable commercial structure and modelling of key financial KPIs.
  • Utilizing your understanding of markets, competitive landscape, regulatory framework (RFNBO, CBAM etc.), as well as customers/industry trends and the Clean Hydrogen value chain to develop the investment opportunity are part of your main responsibilities.
  • As well as connecting with internal and external stakeholders and steering the engagements to drive timely decisions.
  • You are leading cross-functional teams to develop safe, technical, and commercial concepts with Linde\’s offerings to customers/partners.
  • In addition, closing long-term supply agreements without dilution of value during negotiation of T&Cs are part of this role.

What makes you great

  • You possess a Bachelor\’s Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or similar technical discipline; a post-graduate qualification in business or marketing is a plus.
  • On top, you have +5 years relevant experience in the Industrial Gas business driving complex projects and leading high-performing teams across multiple business functions.
  • Strong understanding of project management, leading workstreams, ensuring accountability, and tracking deliverables belong to your strengths.
  • You have the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities within tight timelines.
  • Good commercial skills and investment opportunity development are part of your profile.
  • Furthermore, you have strong experience with customer relationships development and you have already demonstrated key leadership attributes, including strong communication, interpersonal skills, instilling trust, resourcefulness, and being proactive.
  • Understanding and/or experience of the renewables industry is a plus.
