Together with 9,000 selected companies as well as social and health-related institutions, the DHBW ensures that the next generation of specialists and managers are excellently qualified in theory and practice in the fields of business, technology, social services and health.

Since January 1, 2023, it has been part of the dual European University EU4Dual.

DHBW Ravensburg and the Friedrichshafen campus jointly offer courses in the faculties of Business and Engineering. In the 2024/2025 academic year, 3,600 students will be studying at DHBW Ravensburg.

Job Scope: 100 % (39.5 hours per week)

Remuneration: Remuneration up to pay group 11 TV-L possible

Your Tasks:

  • Maintenance and administration of the Windows server and backup infrastructure (VMWare)
  • Installation, administration and support of Microsoft products (Active Directory, Exchange, MS Office) as well as central applications and services
  • Domain administration and consolidation
  • Design, planning, procurement and implementation of new hardware or software solutions
  • Project management and project documentation
  • Participation in the further development of the IT security strategy
  • Processing faults and inquiries in the ticket system (2nd level support)

Your Profile:

  • Completed university degree with IT reference or comparable qualification
  • Experience in the administration of servers in a virtualized infrastructure
  • Experience in IT security and IP networks (LAN, WLAN, VLAN, WAN)
  • Experience in the administration of Windows domains
  • Project experience in the IT sector
  • Analytical, structured and independent way of working
  • Discretion and a strong IT security awareness
  • Enjoyment and enthusiasm to constantly acquire new knowledge and skills
  • Ability to work in a team, confident demeanor and service orientation
