Master Thesis Functional Development of Sensors

• During your Master thesis you will actively support the development of a future generation of particulate matter sensors and gain a broad insight into professional research and development work in industry.
• You will learn the basics of experimental design and apply them to data from your own lab experiments.
• This project will address interesting electrochemical mechanisms and phenomena at the forefront of current research and beyond.
• The project involves planning and conducting lab experiments, programming scripts for automated data analysis, and interpretation of experimental data in the context of complex electrochemical mechanisms.

Qualifications:

• Education: studies in the field of Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or comparable with excellent grades.
• Experience and Knowledge: programming (preferably experience in Python or similar language), lab work, data analysis (physical chemistry).
• Personality and Working Practice: you have a high level of motivation and can work independently.
• Languages: good in English; German is an advantage.

Additional Information:

Start: according to prior agreement.

Duration: 3-6 months.
