As Specialist / Referent IT (m / f / diverse) your tasks will include the following activities :
Local IT Management :
- Assisting to ensure high efficiency and high performance of the local IT organization through appropriate competency management together with the local IT manager and in coordination with the Regional Information Officer (RIO) EU1
IT Services & Projects :
- Assist in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and quality of all local IT services and approved IT projects (partial responsibility)
- Support in ensuring, coordinating, providing, and introducing all IT services, IT activities, and IT projects at the site. This includes IT infrastructure (clients, servers, etc.), engineering, manufacturing, business applications, and cybersecurity.
- Working on the implementation of the IT strategy and IT goals in compliance with all standards and guidelines
- Understanding requirements of local business stakeholders and ensuring their implementation based on existing standard solutions
- Assisting in implementing reliable and robust local solutions to support local processes where no standard is available
- Supporting the harmonization of various business requirements
Budget & Cost :
- Supporting the local IT budget
- Supporting the alignment of the local IT budget with the goals and framework conditions of IT controlling, location controlling, and the RIO
- Assisting with local IT cost control and forecasting
Local Business / Management :
- Acts as single point of contact (SPOC) and represents IT towards location management
- Being the Local IT Manager (LITM) representative in the extended central management team at the site
- Assisting in providing transparency to the Central Management Team (CMT) through regular communication on IT projects (portfolio and roadmap) and IT activities supporting and consulting the location in planning and of IT projects and services
- Assisting with local IT support of business processes and risk management at the site
Reporting :
- Driving local IT business based on local / operational IT reports and KPIs
- Providing and presenting reports as defined / required by RIO and Local Management on a regular basis (KPIs, Balanced Scorecards, HC report, financial reporting, etc.)
Cyber Security :
- Support of vulnerability management at the site together with the LITM or Information Security Adviser (ISA) and Regional Information Security Adviser (RISM) EU1
- Ensuring user trainings and awareness
- Supporting all IT related audits (Corp. Audit, ISO, OEM Audits, TISAX, Location Reviews, etc.)
Qualifications :
- Academic degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science or similar
- First experience in IT, preferable in the automotive industry
- Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken)
- Intercultural and international experience preferred
