For an industrial company in the Lausanne area, we are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst – Project Office .
The Senior Finance Analyst – Project Office will be responsible for defining and implementing the costing solution for the machine business unit.
He/She is responsible for managing projects and initiatives to enhance effective end-to-end Finance processes. He/She manages the project roadmap, timeline, and project status reporting. Additionally, He/She coordinates with the IT teams to ensure all technical functionalities or issues are properly addressed to support the delivery of the Finance project. The Senior Analyst – Project Office ensures the resolution of all escalations and issues assigned in a timely manner.
The Senior Finance Analyst – Project Office is responsible for producing the reporting and status documents of projects under his/her responsibility, as well as coordinating and communicating with all stakeholders (internal & external).
Responsibilities:
- Define and manage the project timeline and roadmap.
- Define the functional requirements in line with the business requirements.
- Define the test plan, requirements, and test scenarios.
- Coordinate and manage the technical requirements and their delivery with the IT teams.
- Produce project status documents and templates.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology to act as product owner.
- Define the global \’to-be\‘ process in line with group policies and Business Process Blueprints.
- Identify, manage, and deliver project and process improvement initiatives as directed.
- Coordinate with the team and management all aspects and steps of the initiatives/projects delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience in project management.
- 3-5 years work experience in an environment preferably within a medium to large international company with a matrix business structure.
- Experience in managing medium-sized projects.
- Understanding of budgetary processes and responsibilities.
- Experience in preparing and delivering presentations to middle management.
- Experience with Shared Service Centres.
- Analytical Thinking.
- Attention to Detail.
- Problem Solving & Results Oriented.
- Fluent in English; French is a plus.
