PR Manager

As part of our scale-up phase, we\’re looking for a PR Manager to join our team and unlock the full potential of Picnic in Germany!

In a nutshell

In this role, you\’ll be a key part of the PR team responsible for amplifying Picnic\’s story across Germany. Your mission: To strategically shape and communicate our brand to media, customers, potential employees, and partners. You\’ll manage Picnic\’s press initiatives from concept to execution to elevate our brand image and solidify Picnic\’s position as the number one family-friendly supermarket. You\’ll also help drive customer awareness by creating press releases, media pitches, and organizing high-impact events.

We\’re looking for someone with a passion for storytelling, a natural networker with a proactive attitude to seize PR opportunities.

What you\’ll do

1. Craft and implement Picnic\’s PR strategies
2. Develop compelling stories for nationwide and local media
3. Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, journalists, local politicians, and influencers
4. Travel across Germany to engage with local journalists
5. Craft press releases and media kits to strengthen our public image
6. Organize and coordinate press events and influencer partnerships
7. Track, analyze, and report on PR activities and media coverage

About you

1. Master\’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
2. 2 years of PR or media experience, preferably in a consumer-oriented environment
3. Strong communication and writing skills with a talent for shaping engaging narratives
4. Excellent project management skills with a detail-oriented, hands-on approach
5. Fluent in both German and English
