Application and Operating System Maintenance: Providing maintenance and support services for applications and operating systems, either directly to users or through service delivery functions.
Diagnostic Troubleshooting: Collecting comprehensive diagnostic information, analyzing problems, and resolving issues related to end-user computers (EUC).
Incident and Problem Management: Investigate and resolve incidents and problems affecting EUC devices, peripherals, and installed software.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and resolve performance-related issues.
User Training and Advice: Advice, training, and corrections (permanent or temporary) for users.
Documentation and Extensions: Updating or creating documentation, editing data, and defining extensions.
Collaboration: Close collaboration with colleagues specializing in various areas (e.g. database administration, network support), vendors, and third-party providers.
Required Skills:
Previous experience in a customer-facing end-user support role is advantageous. This could include roles such as help desk technician, desktop support specialist, or similar positions.
Language Requirement: German (at least C1 level).
Customer-Focused Support: Experience in a customer-focused end-user support function that includes EUC and software/OS installations and support.
Incident Resolution: Mastering the resolution of incidents, requests, changes, and problem-solving within the framework of the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Microsoft Product Knowledge: Good knowledge of the Microsoft product offering, including key features and competitor products.
