Programmer (m/f/d)

Power needs space. We have plenty of it. On over 35,000 square meters, we develop, design, manufacture, wire, equip, assemble and test mainly machine and system controls. But there\’s more: we also cut, weld, paint and coat for switch cabinet and housing construction. We have been doing this here in Erfurt for over 70 years.

We are looking for a programmer (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible. The position is to be full-time with 38 hours per week.

Your Tasks

• Develop solutions for user-specific problems, define influencing variables and data structure and derive software architecture, control and logic of the modules from this.
• Implement user-specific software across the entire field of IT technology to solve business/technical/organizational problems using standard software, software tools and program libraries within the specified range of services.
• Record and analyze the problem, advise on technological solutions and define the range of services with clients, creating the IT specifications, e.g., type and number of planned modules, mask layout, explaining task variants and interim results and coordinating them with clients and users.
• Implement operational requirements (tables, layout, evaluations, interfaces to external systems), taking into account linked functions and existing dependencies on other program systems or integration into an overall system, if applicable.
• Test the created software and adaptations, creating and maintaining program documentation.
• Application support.

Your Qualification

• Completed subject-specific university education or completed subject-specific vocational training and specialist training with several years of professional experience.
• Solution-oriented, structured, independent and autonomous way of working.
• Ability to communicate and work in a team.
• Flexibility, motivation and commitment.
