Responsibilities
- Evaluate, analyze, diagnose and solve technical equipment problems via telephone, remote access or in person at a customer location
- Preparation of field service report on customer support activity and providing documentation to other supporting functions on re-occurring problems
- Representing the company to the customer and accountability for customer satisfaction with service
- Coordinating actions with customers to minimize downtime
- Training and Support service engineers worldwide
- Communication with all partners in a timely manner
- Effectively present information to management
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations
Minimum Qualifications
- University Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Good practical skills in electronic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical assembly
- Ability to read and work with engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills in English and German
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Willingness to travel to customer sites on a regular basis (roughly 25%) for onsite support and service & systems installation
