Experienced Engineer TEST Development

Introduction

GlobalFoundries operates a Test Facility at the Dresden site. As part of the fab, Test is responsible for the functional testing of the manufactured wafers known as wafer sorting. The development of test solutions for autonomous mobility, Industry 4.0, and 5G in Europe is an interesting and great challenge for which we would like to expand the team with an experienced Test Development Engineer.

Your Job

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of test programs and test hardware for the functional test of SOC devices with memory, NVM, logic, mixed signal, and RF components, as well as the transfer of the test programs into production. The work task includes:

1. Development of test concepts, test hardware, and test programs for the functional test of devices with memory, NVM, logic, mixed signal/RF components.
2. Electrical characterization of NVM, memory, logic, and mixed signal/RF devices to support our technology development, yield engineering, and quality teams.
3. Installation, correlation, and release of test programs and test hardware for production.
4. Yield optimization, test time reduction, and continuous improvement of the test process.
5. Creation of test project documentation.

Required Qualifications

1. Completed studies in the fields of information technology, communications engineering, electrical engineering, or physics.
2. At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
3. Knowledge in test hardware design (schematics, probe hardware preparation) is an advantage.
4. Programming skills in C, C++, Java, or Perl.
5. Very good knowledge of electronic measurement methods.
6. Knowledge in memory test procedures is an advantage.
7. Very good written and spoken English skills.
