IT Desktop Support Engineer (German and English)
On-site in Frankfurt
Full-time contract
Language: German and English (MUST)
Responsibilities:
- Provide IT Infrastructure field support including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Install, troubleshoot, and fix desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals.
- Perform smart hand activity under instruction at sites.
- Lift/move computer equipment weighing up to 50Lbs.
- Support desk side and PC break/fix operations, including basic administration of Windows O/S.
- Utilize Anti-spyware and Anti-virus software.
- Provide smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware.
- Troubleshoot systems and networks using deductive reasoning skills.
- Communicate effectively with clients and management.
- Work with deadlines and complete tasks on-time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years\‘ experience in IT support.
- Associate\’s Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of ticketing tools (ServiceNow / Remedy etc.).
- Basic understanding of Mobile Device Management systems.
- Basic understanding of VDI, SCCM, Skype for Business, OneDrive.
Non-Technical Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Able to interact with customers at different levels.
- Self-driven and result-oriented.
- Passionate about the work.
