YOUR OPPORTUNITY

A fantastic opportunity to join the Customer Marketing team in one of Europe’s biggest markets. Becoming a key member of the Off Trade Channel, responsible for the flawless implementation of the BTL Channel strategy with our priority customers. Working alongside a team of Customer Marketing Managers dedicated to the channel.

You will have a passion for understanding shopper behaviour and using this to win on the path to purchase. Positively pushing the boundaries, whilst connecting stakeholders from across the business to deliver execution that balances shopper, customer, and brand objectives. Being at ease making decisions, evaluating performance, and driving continuous improvement to stay two steps ahead of the competition.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Implementing the BTL strategy for the channel, working cross functionally to deliver execution aligned to brand strategy.
  2. Put the shopper at the heart of decision making. Using the insights and tools available to deliver flawless execution along the path to purchase.
  3. Delivering greater consistency in BTL, with 70% of execution to come from Channel Marketing toolkits from F26.
  4. Comfortable identifying gaps and adapting toolkits, but with a focus on executing in line with brand and shopper strategy.
  5. Contribute to the IAP cycle. Bringing a shopper, customer, and brand perspective to the BTL discussion. Work cross functionally to deliver.
  6. Maximize ROI from A&P, set clear objectives for all investment decisions and evaluate in a timely manner.
  7. Ongoing management of A&P budgets, including phasing and invoice/PO processes.
  8. Measure and evaluate brand and channel performance as well as brand activity performance to continuously optimize brand spending.
  9. Consult and take continuous input from key local stakeholders (commercial, category development, consumer marketing) on brand/category plans and activities.
  10. Briefing and challenging of, as well as cooperating and executing with agencies.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  1. Balancing internal and external priorities. Supporting and challenging the field and customers for perfect execution.
  2. Advanced in engaging and motivating others, driving joint ownership between functions (internal or external).
  3. Action orientated, comfortable voicing their opinion and driving the agenda forward, whilst always being a collaborative team player.
  4. High energy and driven at ease overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, whilst empowering those around them to drive momentum.
  5. A self-starter, with the ability to work under pressure and deal with ambiguity.
  6. Possessing an entrepreneurial style, thriving on being a key contact for partner functions, as well as influencing internally and coordinating commercial priorities.
  7. Advanced in prioritization and making bold choices.
  8. Advanced presentation skills.
  9. Strong understanding of consumer & trade customer insights as well as strong numerical, insight and analytical skills.
  10. German verbal/written skills at all levels in an organization; ability to generate meaningful presentations. Translating in between the region and local needs makes it inevitable to be fluent in Business English.
  11. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Marketing or Commercial. Preferably within a Premium / FMCG background.
  12. Experience in the Spirits and/or Beverage industry in the market is preferred.
  13. Knowledge of the channel achieved by working directly with key customers (in a Marketing or Commercial capacity).
  14. Proven track record in positive stakeholder management.
  15. Experience in delivering shopper marketing activation or events is preferred. Experience of working for BTL/Creative agency is beneficial but not essential.
  16. Exposure to Bacardi Way of Growth for Marketing on how to build brands sustainably and effectively.
