Senior Broker – M&A Insurance

About the Role:

IDEX Consulting are representing a global insurance brokerage who are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Broker to join their M&A Insurance team in Munich. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to work with a market-leading team, advising on and structuring transactional risk insurance solutions for private equity firms, corporates, and M&A advisors. You will play a key role in expanding our presence in the German market while leveraging a global network of experts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Originate, develop, and manage M&A insurance transactions , including Warranty & Indemnity (W&I), Tax Liability, and Contingent Risk Insurance .
• Advise private equity firms, corporates, and law firms on optimal risk transfer solutions to facilitate transactions.
• Drive business development initiatives to expand the firm’s M&A insurance footprint in Germany.
• Collaborate with underwriters and legal advisors to structure competitive insurance policies.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance carriers to ensure best-in-class solutions for clients.
• Stay ahead of market trends and regulatory developments impacting M&A insurance in Germany and Europe.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in M&A insurance broking, underwriting, or corporate law.
• Strong understanding of transactional risk insurance and M&A deal structures.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English and German (fluency required).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment with a high level of autonomy.
• A strong network within the private equity, corporate M&A, and legal sectors is highly desirable.
