About the Role:

As a Junior PMO Consultant in Financial Project Controlling, you will play a crucial role in supporting large-scale digital and cloud transformation programs for healthcare sector clients. You will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder coordination will contribute to the success of complex transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Budgeting: Support the creation of project-related budgets and resource planning, ensuring accurate financial forecasting for large projects.
  • Financial Controlling & Analysis: Take ownership of project finances by monitoring, controlling, and optimizing budgets, conducting target vs. actual analyses, and proactively identifying deviations.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Regularly prepare financial status reports, cost analyses, and forecasts. Develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders to support transparent decision-making.
  • Advisory & PMO Support: Act as the first point of contact for management on project finance and resource planning topics, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal governance frameworks throughout project execution.

Qualifications: Initial professional experience in project management, financial controlling, or PMO roles. Above-average university degree in economics, business administration, finance, or a related field, with a focus on controlling or project management.

Required Skills:

  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning tools.
  • Ability to work in a structured and independent manner, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong teamwork skills, high sense of responsibility, and the ability to support colleagues in a dynamic consulting environment.
  • Interest in demanding and value-adding work, particularly in healthcare and digital transformation projects.
  • Excellent communication skills in German (fluent) and English (fluent).
