Connecting freelance Electrical Engineering experts within the German/Deutsch industry

We are currently collaborating with a client in the Utilities Industry looking for multiple Commissioning Operators, one of whom will be more of a lead. You will need to have mechanical and hands-on technical experience to assist on the Power Plant. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a gas & steam turbine for the client.

Contract length: 12 months + (Full time)

Contract type: Freelance

Expectations on the role:

Preparing:

• Reviewing planning documents
• Coordinating testing & material requirements

Execution:

• Overseeing the commissioning of the system
• Participating in it and analyzing the data to identify and solve critical conditions.
• Proposing corrective actions based on this data and the identification of critical conditions, and implementing continuous optimization strategies.

For the Lead role:

• Engaging with project coordinators to execute tasks accurately and timely.
• Managing and serving as a technical authority.
• Taking ownership and ensuring the system works.

Operational Conditions:

• Routine daily shifts which can be extended for 24/7 operation, with safety and regulation compliance.

Must have:

• Experience in commissioning Gas + Steel Turbine
• Mechanical expertise, knowledge of PCS 7 control systems (Siemens) and T3000 is a plus
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
