Our client is a top-tier Venture Capital fund looking for a Senior Associate/Principal or higher to join their Berlin team.

They are seeking an experienced investor or business development professional with a deep understanding of the healthcare sector to play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and executing investments in groundbreaking healthcare, biotech, pharmaceutical, and med-tech companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead deal sourcing, due diligence, and investment execution in the healthcare sector.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with founders, industry experts, and co-investors.
• Support portfolio companies in strategic decision-making, fundraising, and growth initiatives.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities.
• Present investment recommendations to the firm\’s leadership and investment committee.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in venture capital, growth equity, private equity, or corporate business development within healthcare, biotech, pharmaceuticals, or med-tech.
• Strong track record of deal execution including sourcing, structuring, and negotiating transactions.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, regulatory landscape, and innovation trends.
• Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in English; German is a plus.
