To succeed in this role you should have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design Research, or related discipline, or equivalent professional training experience.
- Experience with usability standards and guidelines such as IEC 62366, FDA Guidance for Human Factors, and HE75.
- Experience with human-centered design methods such as focus groups, interviews, contextual inquiries, usability evaluation, documentation, and reporting.
- Demonstrable usability experience from relevant companies, agencies, institutions, or own consultancy.
- Independently working on project activities with a good understanding of budget and time constraints, driving efficiency, and facilitating design quality reviews.
- Working together with or consulting business stakeholders, actively managing relationships, challenging the status quo to drive innovation, and stepping up for the user.
- Fluency in English.
