Director, Credit Risk (Project Finance/Renewable Energy)

Our client, a Global Bank, are currently recruiting a Director for their Credit Risk team in Frankfurt.

In this role, you will be responsible for the analysis and sanctioning of Project Finance & Renewable Energy transactions across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Direct credit risk responsibility for a portfolio of clients, specifically within the Project Finance/Renewable Energy area.
• Monitoring macro-economic, industry specific, customer related trends and information to ensure early identification of any material risks and credit related issues.
• In full compliance with the Bank systems, credit process, policies and procedures.
• Engage with key stakeholders.
• Support the Head of Credit on an on-going basis.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Credit Risk, with a focus on Project Finance / Renewable Energy.
• Preferred past experience: international environment / local branch of large institution.
• Strong technical ability to assimilate and analyse large amount of data and construct a conclusive credit assessment in timely manner,
• Intermediate Excel capabilities to generate financial projections model,
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
