For the digitization department of the Episcopal Vicariate General, we are regularly looking for people as Employee/project manager in the digitization department (m/f/d).
The Digitalization department sees itself as a service provider for the digital transformation of the diocese, the management of projects with diocese-wide significance and the provision of innovative solutions for complex processes. The aim is to meet requirements in such a way that resources can be used optimally and the best possible working environments can be offered with the help of modern information technologies.
Your Future Tasks Will Include:
- Participation in the development and implementation of concepts and measures for the digitalization and further development of IT in the Diocese of Trier.
- Responsibility for the implementation of digitalization projects including coordination and management of human and financial resources.
- Co-responsibility for employee-oriented solutions, including strategies for standardizing and simplifying IT – together with our customers.
- Co-responsibility for negotiations with hardware, software and service providers.
- Representation of digitalization topics within the diocese and its specialist committees.
We Are Hoping For You:
- A scientific university degree (Master\’s degree) in computer science, applied computer science or business informatics or a comparable course of study, alternatively: a scientific university degree (Master\’s degree) with several years of relevant professional experience or alternatively many years of relevant, proven professional digitization experience.
- Very good knowledge of German and English.
- Experience or qualification in project management, service management and agile development.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Azure/Microsoft 365.
- High understanding of processes and their mapping in IT systems.
- Knowledge and experience in digitization project and process management from initiation to independent control/implementation including budget responsibility.
- Knowledge of practical data protection law.
- High degree of initiative, analytical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to deal with conflict, decisiveness and assertiveness.
- Independent, self-reliant and structured way of working as well as organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and time flexibility, high service orientation and quality awareness.
- Empathy and a sense of humor.
