Was Sie erwartet: We are seeking an experienced System Engineer for Hydrogen Engines with a strong background in Hardware Development. For this position you bring experience in combustion engines, particularly gasoline engines, and have experience as a System Hardware Engineer as well. The role involves designing, developing and implementing electronic components and its interfaces, which are supporting the conversion of diesel engines to hydrogen operation. Key Responsibilities: System Requirements Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis to define and document system requirements for hardware development. System Architecture Design: Create detailed electrical and electronic system architectures, including E/E wiring and cable harness schematics. Testing and Validation: Plan and set up electronics laboratories, select and purchase necessary equipment, and establish quality assurance test systems for ECU hardware and software development. Component Verification: Verify and validate mechatronic components of combustion engines. System Integration: Support the integration of corresponding ECU’s, software, and engine systems on test benches Was Sie mitbringen: Proven experience in the field of combustion engines (gasoline engines) and system hardware engineering. Strong understanding of automotive system architecture for combustion engines its electronics and E/E systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics).
