Senior Estimator – Leipzig, Germany – 12-Months Contract

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, and Semi-Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering, and delivery of facilities for high-tech industries. Responsibilities:

1. Review and analyse project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements.
2. Lead discipline estimator work sequence and internal reviews of their deliverables to meet project demand.
3. Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate.
4. Lead the preparation of Project Estimates and support the presentation to Executive and Client management teams.
5. Develop discipline estimates as necessary to support project demands.
6. Mentor and provide guidance to assigned discipline estimators. Provide feedback on performance to Discipline Estimating Manager.
7. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
8. Travel to support both project and corporate needs.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or GED required.
2. Bachelor\’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
3. 10+ years of progressive experience in construction estimating.
4. Proven leadership experience in a senior estimating role.
5. Understands the fundamental concepts of engineering drawings.
6. Understand and apply AACE Recommended Practices.
7. MS Office Suite.
8. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
9. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Extensive knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
