The opportunity

Join our team as a Functional Head Sustainable Solution & Continuous Improvement Specialist and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our manufactured materials, components, and products. In this position, you will be responsible for defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to drive the implementation of sustainable quality solutions.

Additionally, you will further develop and optimize our sustainable solution framework for factory and on-site quality issues. As a dedicated quality ambassador, you will motivate others by exemplifying the highest standards and continuously improving the quality of our products. Lastly, you will oversee the continuous improvement process within the quality department.

How you’ll make an impact

1. Drive sustainable solutions projects for quality issues
2. Further develop our sustainable solution framework for factory and on-site quality issues
3. Serve as an ambassador for quality within the entire operating unit
4. Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department
5. Establish processes to capture non-conformances and ensure data quality
6. Make data available to enable data-driven decisions
7. Lead workstreams cross-functionally and lead monthly review meetings with top management
8. Manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision
9. Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals

Your background

1. Advanced knowledge of quality assurance in manufacturing, typically obtained through advanced education and work experience of minimum 5 years
2. Proven experience in managing projects and processes independently
3. Strong coaching and mentoring skills
4. Ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions
5. Excellent communication and documentation skills
6. Commitment to continuous improvement and passion for quality
7. Proficiency in English is required, while fluency in German is considered an advantage
8. A minimum of a Bachelor\’s degree is required
9. Possession of a Green Belt certification is mandatory; however, a Black Belt certification would be advantageous
