Our client is a multinational company global leader in the chemical sector, based in Hilden. They’re currently looking for a Sr. Regional Buyer with ambition and potential to grow and develop within the company. Is that you?
Responsibilities
- Take on procurement projects in the area of Indirect Sourcing / NPR (Non-Product-Related)
- Handle procurement projects including requirements analysis, Tendering, Supplier management and Price and contract negotiations
- Develop procurement strategies within the scope of responsibility
- Responsible for the local implementation of global and regional procurement strategies and processes
- Conduct, evaluate, and present various analyses
- Lead or participate in procurement projects, e.g., supplier consolidation
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and locally implement global contracts in collaboration with the Regional Category Management
- Work closely with various departments and the Indirect Sourcing Manager within the DACH region as well as other international procurement departments
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Procurement, alternatively a commercial vocational training with additional qualification as a Certified Procurement Specialist (IHK) or equivalent
- Relevant professional experience in indirect procurement
- Well-established supplier network
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with Coupa is an advantage
- Fluent in German and English
