Supply Chain Manager M/W

Following a new contract opening in October 2025 with a major client, Newrest is looking for a new talent to join a growing Supply Chain team and be part of the country’s growth.

Under the responsibility of the Unit Manager and managing up to 5 storekeepers, based in Munich, the Supply Chain Manager is in charge of:

• Monitor supply chain strategies aligning with global market trends.
• Incorporate with the Purchase Manager to source, engage and evaluate suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
• Oversee the company\’s purchasing activities, ensuring the timely acquisition of goods at optimal prices.
• Supervise inventory, maintaining the balance between optimal stock levels and minimized holding costs.
• Analyze and refine supply chain procurement costs, highlighting avenues for cost reduction and efficiency enhancements.
• Work in tandem with key internal stakeholders to project demand, ensuring the readiness of the supply chain.
• Spearhead initiatives that foster supply chain and procurement efficiency, agility, and sustainability.
• Ensure that purchases are made on time.
• Cost management: buying the right products in the right quantities, etc.
• Ensure that deliveries are in line with orders placed.
• Manage the supply chain organization, including the warehouse in the unit in Munich.
