Senior Risk Manager

Position Open in the following locations: Vienna, Munich, Warsaw, London, New York

THE CHALLENGE :

To support the implementation and maintenance of the new Enterprise Risk Management Program within Sportradar by delivering on the risk management plan, providing risk expertise across all aspects of the Risk framework, and working with risk owners to support risk-informed decision-making in Sportradar.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading the design and implementation of enterprise risk management processes across Sportradar.
2. Focusing on Technology, Information Security, and Operational risks.
3. Supporting all elements of the risk management process, including:

• Conducting regular risk identification assessments and evaluations with management across technology, security, and operational business units.
• Working with Risk Owners to define risk appetite and monitor adherence via Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Challenging risk owners to prioritize mitigating actions effectively.
• Driving the maturity of the risk management process to support decision-making.
• Providing education and training to build risk awareness and promote a strong risk culture.
• Participating in Engineering and InfoSec risk councils to consider risk vs. reward.
• Analyzing data for themes, anomalies, and quality improvements.
• Delivering on specific risk-related projects based on business needs.
• Supporting the implementation and adoption of the industry-leading GRC Tool (AuditBoard) across the company.

ABOUT YOU :

• 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management within global organizations or consultancy.
• Experience with data analytics to support risk insights, with the ability to analyze trends and solve problems critically.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, capable of building stakeholder relationships and presenting complex information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and address issues effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple work streams.
• Ability to work well in teams and understand technology sector technologies and services.
• Self-motivated with professional discipline and follow-through.
• Relevant risk management qualifications (CRMA, MIRM, CRisk).
• Bachelor\’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for risk presentation.
