Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility

1. Quality planning and assurance at our suppliers or potential suppliers
2. Development and implementation of audit, quality and inspection plans
3. Responsibility for qualifying and developing potential suppliers and deciding on their suitability together with the purchasing team
4. Track supplier performance / quality and take improvement measures if necessary
5. Ensuring compliance with quality requirements and standards
6. Helping to ensure the required quality and reliability of our supply chain
7. Identify quality problems with products or processes at suppliers and recommend appropriate measures and initiate quality assurance measures
8. Carrying out supplier audits and evaluating suppliers
9. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and quality regulations and standards
10. Review and approval of quality documentation
11. Documentation of measures including Monthly Supplier Quality Report
12. Close cooperation with the Quality, Production, Engineering and R&D departments

Our requirements

1. Degree in engineering or a comparable technical background with professional experience
2. At least three years of professional experience as a quality engineer or in the area of supplier quality assurance
3. Sound knowledge of test standards and a high level of technical understanding of drawings and diagrams
4. Very good written and spoken English skills
5. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
6. Ability to work in a team, self-motivation, flexibility
7. Very structured and precise way of working
