About the Job

We are seeking a passionate and meticulous Quality Assurance Manager to join our innovative team at Keysight Technologies. This pivotal role involves leading a team of Software QA Engineers and Regulation Engineers within our Automotive and Energy Solutions division. You will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge test systems for electric vehicles, with a particular focus on battery testing and charging ecosystems.

About the Team

As the manager of our diverse and multinational Quality Assurance team, you will collaborate with cross-functional groups of developers, project managers, and manufacturing engineers. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the high quality and reliability of our EV battery test systems.

Responsibilities

The role of the SW / HW Quality Assurance Manager is positioned in the Automotive and Energy Solution business. You are part of the development center with focus on development of test systems for electric vehicles, mainly in battery testing and charging ecosystem testing. You take on the role of manager of the QA team with the following responsibilities :

1. Lead and manage the Quality Assurance Team, focusing on hardware-related software quality and regulatory compliance.
2. Plan and allocate resources effectively for projects, fostering the development of individual team members.
3. Monitor and drive continuous improvement in quality assurance practices within development projects.
4. Establish and document quality criteria for the acceptance and release of software products.
5. Define structures and release criteria for regulatory compliance, including CE marking and UL / CSA conformity.
6. Enhance QA processes and promote standardization.
7. Implement and advance software test automation practices.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in quality assurance and testing (both software and hardware).
• Strong commitment to quality and process compliance.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Proficiency in written and spoken German and English.
