The Role
Your Mission: Create structure, shape relationships, drive processes forward
This role is strategically important within our IT department. As a Supplier & Contract Management Specialist , you will establish a centralized hub for managing IT service providers, contracts, and licenses. Your task is to streamline workflows, develop future-proof processes that support compliance, transparency, and operational excellence. This is a building role from the ground up, offering significant responsibility and creative freedom.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop a centralized supplier and contract management function within IT
- Manage IT-related contracts, including renewals, terminations, extensions, and license volumes
- Oversee license management across platforms, including demand planning, tracking, and cost control
- Manage IT suppliers and service providers, including selection, onboarding, and relationship management
- Implement and manage an ISO27001-based supplier management process, including security, compliance, and data protection assessments
- Document and maintain contracts, agreements, and security assessments
- Act as a liaison between IT, procurement, data protection, and security departments
Key Requirements
- Completed commercial or IT-related training, with further education in contract, license, or IT service management preferred
- Experience in contract administration, license management, or supplier relationships in an IT context
- Understanding of IT requirements, especially data protection, security, and ISO27001
- Structured, detail-oriented, proactive, and process-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills, confident dealing with stakeholders and vendors
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
