CCB Ops Global UAT CoE seeks a Lead Automation Engineer with extensive Java and/or Selenium experience to design and develop automated testing solutions within a CI/CD pipeline. As an Automation Lead within the Testing Center of Excellence, you will deliver innovative solutions that advance business and careers. Responsibilities include test design, development, and maintenance of functionality to produce high-quality software and products. Proficiency in Java, Selenium, Web Services Automation, and automated tests validating application functionality is required. Strong verbal, written, analytical skills, and the ability to interact with development, product teams, and subject matter experts are essential. An understanding of Agile frameworks is key.

Technical Experience:

• Technical proficiency in Java 8 (or newer), JavaScript, Spring/Spring Boot
• Strong VB scripting, Excel Macros, Cypress/Sikulix/Winium/Selenium skills
• Hands-on experience with web technologies (e.g., HTTP, XML, REST, HTML) and building microservice or API-based applications
• Experience with web version control tools (GIT, Bitbucket)
• Experience with web testing methods and SQL queries (SQL Server 2012+)
• Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Maven, automated deployment
• Ability to communicate and deliver effective Automated Test solutions to development and QA teams
• Experience with Agile methodologies

Qualifications:

• Master\’s or Bachelor\’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and related technologies
• Proven leadership qualities including ownership, communication, creativity, initiative, attention to detail, mentoring, and coaching
• Strong automation scripting and query development skills
• Understanding of formal software test design techniques
• Experience developing testing scripts with tools like Cypress, Winium, Sikulix, Selenium
