Overview

Inventory & Asset Management technicians are responsible for inbound/outbound logistics, inventory cycle audits, and Data Center regulatory compliance activities. They guide employees in warranty processes and data bearing device (DBD) destruction, modeling leadership principles, and ensuring accurate and efficient completion of IAM tasks while managing stakeholder escalations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and 3+ years in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, inventory management, retail, logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Background Check Requirements

Ability to meet security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating heavy-load equipment (e.g., forklift), project management experience, and certifications like APICS/ASCM, IAITAM, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations, ensuring inbound/outbound processes run smoothly.
  • Assess workflows and adjust work assignments to meet timelines.
  • Plan and communicate project plans with stakeholders.
  • Document, track, and resolve issues with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Oversee third-party vendors for DBD destruction, ensuring data security.
  • Ensure compliance with methodologies and manage procurement requests.
  • Provide leadership and serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring junior team members.
  • Conduct safety briefings and ensure safety procedures are followed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
