Senior Network Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Specialist to support and enhance our transnational company network. This role involves planning, configuring, and maintaining complex network systems while ensuring high security and efficiency. You will be responsible for network migrations, troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide holistic support for internal IT projects and network infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Plan, design, configure, and implement complex network systems , ensuring smooth operations.
• Analyze and resolve network problems and bottlenecks , proactively identifying risks.
• Document and track issues using a trouble ticket system , escalating critical problems as needed.
• Represent the Network Administration department in cross-functional teams.
• Support the connection of cloud services and interlink locations across Europe.
• Monitor network security, implement NAC solutions , and apply segmentation concepts .

Required Skills & Experience :

• SD-Wan Mandatory Skills
• Completed IT-oriented training (e.g., IT Specialist, IT Systems Electronics Technician ) or a comparable degree.
• Solid knowledge of network security , NAC solutions, and segmentation concepts.
• Hands-on experience with network planning, configuration, and migrations .
• Familiarity with Juniper, Aruba, and Cato products is a plus.
• Strong customer and service orientation , with flexibility and team spirit.
• Excellent communication skills in German (C1+) and English (B2+) .
