What You Will Do

• Build highly performant connectors to collect data from scientific instruments and other sources.
• Work independently to make progress amidst ambiguity or conflicting requirements.
• Design and develop efficient data extraction solutions.
• Ensure resiliency, scalability, and high availability of connectors.
• Deliver high-quality products following agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with product management to realize vision and ideas.
• Work effectively with a geographically dispersed team across time zones.
• Learn, grow, and contribute feedback constructively.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in designing and developing distributed systems for large datasets.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Typescript, or Python and related technologies.
• Experience with Docker, cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), and databases/SQL.
• Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, TLS, tunneling.
• Experience with testing, Linux, performance tuning, and debugging.
• Strong communication skills, including technical writing.
• Bachelor\’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in Life Sciences or scientific data is a plus.
