Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer AI at Jedox, you will play a central role in shaping the data infrastructure that powers our AI/ML services. Your responsibilities include designing and developing scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines to ensure our platform delivers high-quality, reliable insights to customers. Your work will directly support AI-driven analysis, contributing to our innovation and growth in a data-driven world.

• Independently design, build, and manage robust data architectures and pipelines for AI/ML workflows.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Select and manage effective data storage and processing solutions optimized for AI workloads.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices to strengthen team capabilities.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and advocate for technologies that drive continuous improvement.

Your Profile

• Have over 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer with a passion for AI/ML.
• Experience in designing and implementing robust data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts.
• Strong background in data modeling and optimizing storage solutions for structured and unstructured data, including vector storage.
• Proficient in designing and developing production-ready data solutions for AI/ML, with experience in data observability, big data processing, streaming frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka), data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow), and data observability tools.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and NoSQL databases, with a good understanding of AI/ML frameworks.
• Familiar with challenges related to cube-based data sources is a plus.
• Experience working in agile environments.
