Data Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Data Architect to join our client team. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance and best practices in data management, governance, and strategy. You will play a crucial role in advising on data sources, ensuring data accuracy and appropriate scope, and recommending effective methods for retrieving and presenting meaningful insights to the business.

Responsibilities :

• Provide strategic guidance and expert recommendations on data architecture and management.
• Offer best practices for data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration.
• Develop and implement data governance strategies and policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Provide strategic consultancy on identifying, evaluating, and selecting appropriate data sources.
• Assess and advise on data accuracy, data scope, and data quality assurance processes.
• Recommend optimal methods and tools for data retrieval, analysis, and presentation to generate actionable business insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into robust data architectures.
• Contribute to the development of data strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Document data architectures, data flows, and data models.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and data management.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience (10+ years) in a Data Architect role or similar capacity.
• Deep understanding of data modeling principles, data warehousing concepts, and ETL / ELT processes.
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with a variety of database technologies (e.g., relational, NoSQL, cloud-based).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical data solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
